Vision Statement
To see the incidence of burn related deaths and injuries greatly reduced. To see that all Australians affected by burn trauma have access to the best holistic care available, resulting in the best possible outcome. We are dedicated to seeing all burn victims graduate to BURN Survivors, enabling them to start living beyond the burn.
Mission Statement
We will achieve our vision through working proactively and collaboratively with health professionals, corporate partners, community groups, all levels of government, as well as other organisations in the burn prevention and burn care fields. We will work tirelessly and endlessly to achieve our vision by:
- Ensuring the best holistic care is available for the burn patient and their loved ones, so that the burn treatment extends far beyond just the physical healing;
- Providing support programs to develop and enhance post trauma life skills;
- Ensuring that nobody is left to walk alone along the long road to recovery;
- Implementing the highest standards of education and prevention programs;
- Sharing knowledge with all organisations interested in burn prevention and burn recovery.
